Puerto Rico faces one of the largest opportunity gaps in the United States: more than 1.6 million people live in or near poverty, and economic mobility remains out of reach for most. Meaningful growth requires equitable access to good jobs, opportunities for entrepreneurship, and support services, alongside policies that eliminate barriers and foster incentives to work. Despite a critical need for integrated solutions, Puerto Rico's ecosystem remains fractured, and the capital needed to scale these solutions rarely reaches the communities that need it. PSI was created to help close this resource gap by aligning capital, partners, and strategy so mobility can happen for key groups across Puerto Rico:

• Children and their families, particularly those in female-headed households.
• Opportunity youth who are not in employment, education, or training.
• Working adults above 45 years old who face employment challenges.
• Families residing in central and southern regions of the Island.

PSI directs capital toward these groups to improve access to quality services, jobs, and infrastructure. We partner with local, national, and international organizations to engineer the financial and operational structures needed for durability, using a blended finance approach and long-term public-private investment. This approach manifests as multi-service hubs, like Oasis 360, and coordinated partner networks designed to serve core local priorities. In every case, our goal is to build transformative, self-sustaining pathways to mobility.
